Rajkot: Days after the physique of a 31-year-old man was present in his fields in Gujarat’s Rajkot district, the police arrested the deceased’s father on the cost of homicide. The incident passed off in Jasdan taluka’s Kanesar village.
The arrested accused has been recognized as 52-year-old Batuk Kukadia. He reportedly killed his son Mehul after a quarrel over harvest cash. In keeping with a report revealed in The Times of India, the accused hit his son 4 instances on his head with a heavy wood stick. Mehul died on the spot.
After committing the crime, Batuk fled from the spot. he was the prime suspect within the homicide as his cellphone was switched off and he had left the village. The police launched a manhunt operation to nab the accused. They even used drones to hint Batuk.

“We used drone cameras and a separate workforce of cops scoured by way of the close by areas that are hilly and stuffed with shrubs to hint Batuk. Finally, he was discovered hiding in a grassland close to the village,” R S Sankadiya, sub-inspector, Bhadla police station as quoted by TOI.

The police first situated Batuk’s bike, which he had deserted on the street between Kanesara to Bhet Chuda village. Sankadiya mentioned on the evening of March 9, the accused demanded his share within the harvest cash resulting from which a quarrel broke out between Batuk and his son. In a little bit of anger, Batuk bludgeoned with the stick.

Notably, Batuk was not residing together with his spouse and three sons. As per the reviews, the accused had a behavior of preventing with folks over petty points and can be an alcohol addict.
