The girl constable alleged that she was raped contained in the BSF camp. The rape survivor claimed she had reported the incident to her unit and was directed to bear a medical checkup on the BSF-designated Hospital in Kolkata. The girl constable was additional referred to the state-run SSKM Hospital for her medical examination.
The survivor has lodged a ZERO fir at Bhowanipore Police Station An FIR was registered on February 20 beneath sections 376(2)(c) of the India Penal Code (IPC). The girl constable has undergone a medical examination beneath part 164A CrPC.
In one other incident, a girl was allegedly drugged and raped by a person in his automobile parked within the basement of Sahara mall in Haryana’s Gurugram. Narrating her ordeal to the police, the alleged rape sufferer claimed that accused Tushar Sharma referred to as her for an interview after which sexually assaulted her after giving her water laced with sedatives.
