MLA Prakash Phaterpekar’s son assaults Sonu Nigam and workforce

In his assertion to police, the singer had alleged that MLA Prakash Phatarpekar’s son Swapnil Prakash Phatarpekar pushed him down the stage, hit his colleagues Hariprakash and Rabbani Khan and made them fall down the steps and injured them.
A case has been registered underneath IPC sections 323 (Punishment for voluntarily inflicting harm), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 337 (inflicting harm by act endangering life or private security of others) on the idea of singer Sonu Nigam’s criticism, the police mentioned.
DCP Hemrajsingh Rajput informed reporters, “After stay live performance, Sonu Nigam was coming down from stage when a person held him. After objection he pushed Sonu Nigam and two different males with him from the steps, a type of two males sustained accidents. Accused’s identify is Swapnil Phaterpekar.”
Singer Sonu Nigam’s workforce member Rabbani and bodyguard have been injured in a scuffle when some males approached him for a selfie on stage. The incident happened when Sonu attended a music pageant in Chembur on Monday night.
