Patna: In a surprising incident, a Border Safety Drive (BSF) jawan shot a toddy vendor for over Rs 80 in Bihar’s Siwan district on Sunday. The BSF soldier was reportedly in an inebriated state. The BSF jawan has been recognized as Ujjwal Kumar Pandey. He’s a resident of Ratanpura in Maharajganj police station.
The incident happened in Pokhara village of the district. The police arrested the accused. A pistol, 4 bullets and a motorbike had been recovered from the accused, reported India Today. The sufferer has been recognized as Munnilal Ram. He’s a toddy vendor. Ram is a resident of Pokhara village in Maharajganj.

On Monday, Pandey went to Munnilal’s toddy outlet. Nevertheless, an altercation broke out when the sufferer requested the BSF jawan to pay Rs 80 for the toddy. Nevertheless, Pandey refused to pay the cash and in addition fired three bullets.

Munnilal was shifted to a hospital. His situation is reported to be out of hazard. The police are questioning the BSJ jawan. Nevertheless, he reportedly refused to make any assertion. An in depth investigation has been launched into the matter.
