In line with the police, the cash was transferred from the account of the lady’s father. The accused broke up with the lady as she stopped paying him the cash, reported TOI. The accused was already married and hid this truth from the sufferer.
A couple of days later, he switched off his cell quantity and hid within the north Indian states. Upon realising that she was being duped, the lady approached the police. On the idea of the criticism, the police launched a search operation to nab the accused. He was arrested from Hyderabad.
In the meantime in one other incident, a Mumbai resident was duped of practically Rs two lakh by a cyber fraudster in February this 12 months. The 40-year-old sufferer, Nitin Oriya, was cheated by the cyber criminal when he was making an attempt to ship a parcel. The sufferer is a resident of Mumbai’s Borivali (east) space.
