Maharashtra Police recovers decomposed physique of 62-year-old man from Dudhganga canal in Kohlapur (Representational picture)

The deceased has been recognized as 62-year-old Motiram Mahadev Rajput. He was a resident of Hupari. The physique was despatched for postmortem. The police retrieved the automobile from the canal with the assistance of a crane.
In the course of the inspection of the automobile, the police recovered the decomposed physique, reported The Occasions of India. After the physique was recovered, a forensic group reached the spot and picked up samples.
“A physique was present in a automobile (MH 12 ET 1762) that had fallen into the Dudhganga canal. It was wedged 40 toes underwater,” stated Assistant police inspector Pankaj Giri as quoted by TOI.
