Six-year-old girl raped by 35-yr-old man in Mumbai; probe on

Mumbai: In one more surprising incident, a 35-year-old man allegedly raped a six-year-old woman in Mumbai on Tuesday. As per studies, the alleged crime occurred below the jurisdiction of the Mankhurd police station.

Police mentioned that the accused noticed the 6-year-old woman alone and took her to his home. The person then allegedly raped the minor woman. When she returned to her home, she narrated the horrific ordeal to her mom. Following that, the household of the sufferer went to the closest police station and lodged a grievance in opposition to the 35-year-old man, information company ANI reported.

After the grievance was filed, cops instantly launched a manhunt and the accused was arrested.

Following that, a case has been registered below part 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Police mentioned that additional probe into the matter is underway.
