Chennai: In yet one more case of stunning caste violence, 11 individuals together with three minors have been booked for the assault of a Scheduled Caste man in Neivayal village of Tamil Nadu’s Ramanthapuram district. After abducting the sufferer, the caste Hindu group reportedly attacked him and urinated on him.

The gang was booked on Friday by the Thiuvadanai police in reference to the incident — 5 days after a 33-year-old Dalit man referred to as Jeeva was attacked.

In response to stories, a 17-year-old upper-caste boy had engaged in an argument with a relative of Jeeva in an inebriated situation. On February 19, Jeeva and his buddy Suresh reached out to {the teenager}’s household to settle the problem peacefully.
