Bengaluru: A viral video on social media confirmed a violent faceoff between the followers of the Kerala Blasters FC (KBFC) and Bengaluru FC (BFC) throughout an Indian Tremendous League (ISL) match on the Sri Kanteerava Stadium. Though the Kanteerava is the house turf of Bengaluru FC, it was the away followers who bullied and beat up the opposition followers on Saturday, the viral video confirmed.
Saturday’s contest, which some name the southern derby of the ISL, was observed for the large turnup of the away followers. The “Manjappada” or Yellow Military, the followers of the KBFC, painted half the stadium yellow. Each Blasters and BFC are recognized for his or her fanatic fanbase.
