The complainant, Manjusha Sinha, is a resident of Kotra Sultanabad. She is reportedly posted within the accounting division at BMHRC. The incident occurred in November final 12 months when she needed to purchase a laptop computer for her daughter.
The person who picked up the decision launched himself as the chief of the web site. He advised Manjusha that she would get a smartphone free on the acquisition of a laptop computer value Rs 50,000.
As per the report, the accused requested the lady to pay Rs 599 as a registration price for claiming the provide. As soon as the lady paid the quantity, Rs 4.83 lakh acquired debited from her account in a number of transactions. Nonetheless, when the complainant requested for a refund, the accused requested her to pay extra money.
A complete of Rs 4.83 lakh was siphoned off from Manjusha’s account in 15 transactions. She didn’t get her a refund and nor any laptop computer was delivered to her. Upon realising that she was being duped, the lady approached the police and filed a grievance.
