A video of Dabbu Gupta narrating his ordeal has gone viral on social media.
Within the viral video, Gupta claimed that his spouse threw acid on him after he requested the rationale for her delay in returning dwelling.
In accordance with the 40-year-old, when he questioned his spouse on coming bacl dwelling late evening, she informed him was it none of his enterprise. Dabbu stated a heated argument ensued theerafter and following which she threw acid on his face.
Dabbu Gupta demanded strict punishment for his spouse Poonam and in addition demanded higher medical remedy amenities.
In accordance with Gupta, he questioned Poonam after she returned dwelling round 12:30 am. When questioned, Poonam began quarrelling with Daboo and each of them bodily assaulted one another.
“This, nevertheless, enraged Poonam who picked up a bottle of acid stored within the lavatory and splashed it on his face,” stated the police spokesman.
Throughout the preliminary probe, the police discovered that Daboo Gupta was a liquor addict and used to usually quarrel together with her spouse in a drunken state.
